Games created (or created at various times) using Xtreme3D. Some have been polished to a playable state, others exist as early demos and alpha versions, and still others are known only from screenshots and descriptions. If you're developing your own project (or found someone else's online) using Xtreme3D, please report it on our forum, and we'll add it to this list.
Developer: Nikita Zotov aka TEPA6ANT
The first game ever built with Xtreme3D 4.0! A 3D puzzle game that can be described as "reverse Tetris": you shoot blocks to fill the gaps in the advancing game board, and a filled horizontal row disappears. In the 3D version, the mechanics are more challenging, as you need to maintain perspective and move the blue block without missing. The game features pleasant retro graphics and excellent synthwave-style electronic music.
From the author: "In the early 2000s, portable devices from China called Brick Game were popular in my region. Although this device is known for its Tetris game, it also had other games, like tank-like games. And there was one game on the device. In this game, you shoot blocks to create a line before the blocks generating from above reach the bottom screen. I tried to recreate this game. I don't know its original name, much less the author. Initially, I called the game BlockShot Arcade, but the name was taken. So I quickly typed "Equilibrated Block" into an online translator and got Equib Block. And, as it later turned out, the word Equib doesn't exist and was a translation error. But it looks original, so I left it that way."

The game was made with GameMaker Studio 2 and Xtreme3d 4.0.0 alpha1.
Developer: Timur Gafarov aka Gecko
Tech demo of Xtreme3D 3.6, which was developed in 2017-2018. This is a prototype for an action RPG set in a fantasy universe, where the player assumes the role of a mage. An alpha version of the game is available, featuring one unfinished location and basic gameplay elements.
Technologies such as dynamic cascading shadows, realistic shader water with reflections, the bloom effect, physics, collision checking, animation, and raycasting (for interacting with crates) are demonstrated. There is also a game interface with health, mana, and experience bars. The Squall engine is used for sounds and music. The combat system, dialogue, and enemy AI remain unimplemented.
Developers: Andrey Gavrilenko aka ANDron23, Timur Gafarov aka Gecko
A project with a rather interesting story behind it. This survival shooter was originally founded in 2008 by Gecko. A large open world was planned, in which the player could roam freely to track down and kill a wild boar terrorizing a village. The Gecko's project was abandoned, but a demo with a winter setting remained, including landscape, trees, the sounds of footsteps in the snow, crows, etc.
In 2017-2018, ANDron23, based on this demo, completed a full implementation of the game according to Gecko's original description. The project was called The Hunt Remake. Almost all mechanics were fully implemented, including enemies, inventory, equipment, health, and strength indicators. The graphic style is reminiscent of the original demo, and many new elements were added—there is even an options menu. The game has excellent sound.
Patch for the version 1.5, which fixes a bug on modern versions of Windows (6.5 MB)
Developer: Andrey Gavrilenko aka ANDron23
A 3D platformer, remake of the SMD game Cool Spot, the main character of which is 7up's mascot. According to the story, Spot must rescue his kidnapped comrade. You'll face hordes of enemies, and you'll also need to collect various items to complete missions.
Developer: Nick Larin aka Scream681
Definitely the best unfinished Xtreme3D game. An action platformer with RPG elements, it's a sequel to The Ultimate Chuchu (T.U.C.). Like the first game, you play as the superheroine Chuchu, liberating our planet from alien invaders. The game is very well-made, features cool graphics and animations. The design, for a 2007 indie project, is gorgeous.
The game, unfortunately, was never finished; only a demo version with one level and two weapons was released, but it is still quite playable.
Download from the website (4.4 MB)
An early version of the game (3.1 MB), where the main character is modeled in realistic proportions, there is no menu, and the map is unfinished.
The first part of the game, made in 2D graphics, is also available:
Developer: Nick Larin aka Scream681
A very fun game from the creator of the T.U.C. series. This is a racing game where instead of a car, you control a chocobo, familiar to gamers from Final Fantasy. It's a flightless yellow bird that resembles a cross between a chicken and an ostrich. You'll be offered several tracks and a computer opponent. A chocobo can accelerate once it gains enough strength, and can also jump high and glide in the air. Some tracks are underwater, but even that won't stop a brave chocobo! He feels great in the water, although he moves a little slower.
Developer: Omicron Software
An RTS using Xtreme3D as the graphics engine. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of ancient times and witness the rise and fall of entire civilizations. The game is available as a demo. You can download the latest version of the demo (0.2.2) with a patch that fixes interface display bugs on our website.
Developer: Max P.
A top-down sci-fi shooter, a sequel to Parabator. You fight against treaded combat robots that emerge from portals. An add-on is included: a post-apocalyptic-themed digital board game.
There is also a sequel, Parabator 3. Unlike the first two games, this is a first-person corridor shooter using the Cube 2: Sauerbraten engine.
Developer: Chris Riley
A high-quality 3D version of the well-known Pac-Man. Includes a level editor.
Developer: Xception
A 3D breakout game created by the creator of Xtreme3D as a demonstration of the engine.
Developer: Unknown
A simple side-scrolling shooter. You control a sci-fi vehicle and fight against hordes of equally futuristic enemies. Source code available.
Developer: Combustion Entertainment
One of the most acclaimed GM games of 2007, developed in Ultimate3D. This ambitious project to create a full-fledged 3D MMORPG on Game Maker lasted only about a year, after which the server shut down, and the game, unfortunately, disappeared from public access, never surviving online. However, early alpha versions, which still used Xtreme3D as the graphics engine, have survived. However, it's difficult to judge the gameplay from them – there's only one island in the middle of the ocean for you to roam. Graphically, they are somewhat inferior to the Ultimate3D version - if you find it anywhere, please let us know and we will post it here too.
Developer: DJKevy
Remake of the famous first-person shooter Perfect Dark on Nintendo 64. The game never saw a release, there is only a demo version with one room and basic mechanics.
Developer: Balto.ru community
A game based on the famous cartoon Balto, which tells the story of a heroic sled dog. The game is being created by the community of the Balto fansite: https://balto.ru, and the project has been in development for several years. The developers decided on a rather original approach: creating a 2D platformer operating in 3D space. The graphics engine is GLScene's own wrapper, XL3D, written by a developer nicknamed Ghost, modeled after Xtreme3D. As far as we know, this wrapper is not publicly available, but some of Ghost's work has been incorporated into Xtreme3D 3.0.
Developer: Timur Gafarov aka Gecko
Another unfinished project from Gecko, a game themed around the Cuban Revolution, from the landing of the yacht "Granma" to the capture of Havana. The plan was for a top-down tactical shooter, where the player controls a squad of rebels, switching between them. The game was in development in 2009, with the main menu layout and art featuring biographies of the main characters, Che Guevara and Fidel Castro, but the project was later discontinued. A demo version of the game remains, featuring a menu created entirely using Xtreme3D and background music using supersound.dll.
Developer: Cage
In 2007, a developer nicknamed Cage was developing a Batgirl game, but the project was never completed. However, a demo with an animated model of the superheroine survives.
Developer: Motron Software (Serina O'Connell aka Purianite, Steven O'Brien aka Stevenup7002)
A sci-fi shooter, developed in 2007 but abandoned, only an early demo exists. The archive includes the GMK source code (under Public Domain).
Developer: civic71
A racing game from an Italian developer. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on all computers. We still haven't been able to determine the cause.
Developer: civic71
Not exactly a game, but also a product of sorts based on Xtreme3D, a generator of animated sprites from MD2 models.
Developer: Dark Shadow
A sci-fi real-time strategy game developed in 2006. Unfortunately, the project never made it past alpha.
Developer: ZmajSoft
An unreleased first-person shooter from the Serbian studio ZmajSoft. We know very little about this game. We only got our hands on its exclusive map editor, ZmajSoft 3D Editor, which you can find in the Utilities section.
Developer: Arno Becker aka Bami
A project by Dutch developer Arno Becker, better known in the GM community as Bami. Along with Nick Larin, he was once one of the most experienced Xtreme3D users and even created an informational website dedicated to the engine, where he published tutorials and examples. His main Xtreme3D-based project, the multiplayer shooter High Voltage Tournament, was developed from 2001 to 2007 but was never completed. Demo versions of HVT were available online, but unfortunately, we don't have them. If you still have them, please contact the editors.
Developer: Dragonzap
A 3D platformer from a Hungarian developer. Unfortunately, the game is no longer available online. If you still own a copy, please let us know.
Developer: Machete
A space shooter from Kirill Zhukov, aka Machete. Unfortunately, the game is no longer available online. If you have it, please share.
Kirill Zhukov's website (all download links are, unfortunately, broken)
Developer: Omicron Software
Another project from the developer of Dawn of Civilizations, formerly known as Lions of the Atlantic II. It seems the ships have now left the mortal land (or water?) and the battles continue among the clouds. Among the "goodies" worth noting are volumetric clouds, color filters, and 2-4x screen anti-aliasing. Unfortunately, the project was abandoned.
Developer: Omicron Software
A hexagonal strategy game developed by Omicron, the same creators of Dawn of Civilizations and Lions of the Atlantic. Unfortunately, the project was never completed.
