A wrapper for the well-known Horde3D engine, developed by FireRun. It runs on OpenGL 2/4 and supports animated models, shaders, particles, dynamic shadows, and landscape rendering. Horde3D's distinctive feature is loading scene data from XML-based resource files, allowing for modification of virtually anything without rebuilding the game. This also applies to the graphics pipeline, which is also described using XML. Shaders are written in GLSL and stored in a special *.shader file format. Models are stored in *.geo format, and a Collada model converter is included with the engine.
