The site returned to the old server, thanks to which our forum is available again, as well as the Guestbook.
Targeting Russian audience today imposes too much legislatory restrictions, so we desided to make Xtreme3D.org international. There is some interest to Xtreme3D from the worldwide community, and the site is already hosted in Europe, so this seems like a logical next step.
Almost all pages were translated to English, except Software section. Also a number of issues were fixed.
It's still unclear what to do with our forum in long term. There's a chance we might be able to revert to the old server, so we've decided to wait with the new MyBB installation.
Due to problems with the data center where our site was moved in April, we are forced to move again. Unfortunately, the forum is unavailable; its future is still in question. Guestbook also doesn't work yet.
The site URL remains unchanged: https://xtreme3d.org.
The website is moving to https://xtreme3d.org domain, as well as the FPS magazine website. The old domain xtreme3d.ru will continue to exist until September 2026 and will redirect to the new address. Please update your browser bookmarks.
Xtreme3D 4.1.0 SDK for GameMaker and Python 3 has been released. Recent versions of GameMaker do not have the ability to render to a standard window, so demos now use a custom window created with the WindowCreate function. Details are in the corresponding forum thread. You can download the SDK from the website, on the Xtreme3D 4.x page, or on the GitHub release page.
We've added a Guestbook to our website, where you can leave your feedback by logging into our forum. We plan to implement comments using the same system in the future.
Our forum is back online. Unfortunately, due to the loss of access to the old site database, old accounts and posts have been lost—apparently irrevocably. Also, due to the transition to the jurisdiction of the Netherlands and the EU, we have updated the user agreement.
We are pleased to announce that the FPS magazine website has been moved to a new hosting. An encoding issue in the old forum archive has also been fixed.
Recently, the website was down for a long time due to issues with the hosting provider (specifically, a complete server infrastructure crash), with no contact with technical support or the sales department. As of April 4, 2026, this issue is still ongoing, so the decision was made to move the website to a different hosting provider. Unfortunately, the forum and wiki will likely not be able to be migrated in their original form (but we believe this can be done, and we hope the old hosting provider will eventually come back online so we can perform a database dump). The FPS magazine website is also currently unavailable. The static portion of the website has been migrated without any changes or losses. Please report any issues accessing the site's content to the administrator.
Also, I'd like to say a few unflattering words about HostingRu. To say they've gone downhill in recent years is an understatement. Regular weekly downtimes, CPanel license issues, a non-functional billing page, broken FTP, and broken databases: this is a short list of what we've encountered with this shitty hosting over the past three or four years. The March crash was the final straw. We wish HostingRu all the worst, and all their clients fortitude, mental health, and success in their transition.
